Now Careers is currently seeking an experienced Stormwater Labourer to join a leading civil infrastructure and asset maintenance contractor delivering remediation and maintenance works across Sydney's stormwater, tunnel, and sewer networks. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a robust civil maintenance background looking for ongoing work with consistent hours and overtime opportunities.

$42.32 per hour + $21.29 daily travel allowance

Ongoing casual role with full time hours
Monday to Friday | 7:00am - 3:30pm
Burraneer location
Long-term ongoing project work
Work with a respected civil maintenance and remediation contractor

Key Duties

Working across stormwater, tunnel, and sewer infrastructure maintenance projects, your responsibilities may include:
Concrete patching and repair works
Spalling and crack repairs
Surface preparation including grinding, chipping, and saw cutting
Jackhammering and remediation works
Applying repair mortars, epoxy systems, and concrete additives
Working in confined spaces and at heights
General labouring and civil maintenance duties





Essential Requirements
White Card
Confined Space Ticket and Confined Space Rescue
Working at Heights Ticket
Previous civil maintenance experience
Proven experience in concrete patching, repairs, and remediation
Solid commitment to workplace safety
Physically fit and capable of manual work

Highly Regarded
Experience working on stormwater, tunnel, or underground infrastructure projects
Asset maintenance or remediation background
Exposure to sewer pipeline or ventilation shaft works

Additional Information
Parking available on site
Drug & Alcohol screening required
Confined Space Medical required following site induction
PPE required: steel cap boots, long sleeve shirt, long pants, hard hat, gloves, and safety glasses (respiratory protection provided)
Must be clean shaven for face fit testing of respiratory PPE (applicants may maintain a short, neat beard only if it does not interfere with the mask seal)
