About the role

Vinnova Dental is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Full time Dental Receptionist to join our welcoming and professional team in Thurgoona. This is more than just a front-desk position. You'll play an important role in creating a positive patient experience, supporting our dental team and ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of our practice.

Key responsibilities
Welcoming patients with warmth and professionalism
Managing appointments, recalls and patient enquiries
Answering phone calls, responding to emails and coordinating bookings
Processing payments, health fund claims and accounts
Maintaining an organised and efficient appointment book
Communicating effectively with patients, dentists and team members
Supporting the smooth daily operation of the practice
Assisting with sterilisation and chairside duties when required, with appropriate training

About you
Previous dental reception experience, highly regarded
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
Confidence managing a busy reception environment
A friendly,



professional and positive attitude
Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills
A proactive approach — someone who sees what needs to be done and gets it done
The ability to work independently while being a supportive team player
Good computer skills and the ability to learn practice management software
Dental assisting and sterilisation experience would be a great advantage, but is not essential
