We’re looking for an experienced Chef to join our team, working casual hours at an aged care facility in Jimboomba, QLD. You’ll be part of a warm, supportive workplace where your work truly makes a difference to residents’ daily lives.

About the role:
Preparing and cooking meals for residents according to their dietary needs and preferences
Ensuring meals are nutritious, flavourful and served in a warm and inviting manner
Maintaining clean and organised kitchen while adhering to all health and safety regulations
Collaborating with facility and care staff
Fostering a positive and friendly setting in the kitchen and in the dining area
Ongoing weekly roster Mon, Thurs & Friday shifts 9.30am-5.30pm. Sat & Sun shifts 6am-2pm. Every Tues & Wed OFF.

What we're looking for:
Experience within aged care or healthcare settings
Strong knowledge of food safety and dietary requirements, IDDSI framework / texture-modified meals
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (Cert III or above)
Ability to manage a kitchen independently and work unsupervised
Current Food Safety Certificate
Valid National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
