About the role

You will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, high-quality meals for aged care residents while maintaining a safe, clean and organised kitchen setting.

Your duties may include:
Preparing and cooking meals in accordance with menus and dietary requirements
Catering for residents with specialised dietary needs, allergies and texture-modified diets
Maintaining food safety,



hygiene and infection control standards
Assisting with menu preparation, portion control and meal presentation
Working collaboratively with kitchen and care staff
Ensuring meals are prepared and served on time

What we’re looking for
Previous experience working as a Cook or Chef, preferably in aged care, healthcare or a similar high-volume catering workplace - minimum of 6 months
Knowledge of food safety and safe food handling practices
An understanding of special dietary requirements and food allergies
Current NDIS clearance
Current National Police Check
Evidence of up to date vaccinations
Full Autralian work rights
Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery are highly regarded
