About the role

CENTRAL COAST 4X4 WRECKERS is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team in Wyong, NSW. This is a great prospect for a qualified mechanic with experience in 4x4 vehicles. Full time position with No weekend work

Key responsibilities
Testing, dismantling and cleaning of 4x4 parts
Problem solving
Conduct vehicle inspections and provide detailed reports on mechanical condition
Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
Ensure all work is completed to safety standards and company specifications
Collaborate with team members to meet service schedules and customer deadlines
Keep the workshop clean, organised and safe in accordance with health and safety regulations

What we're looking for
A recognised automotive trade qualification or equivalent apprenticeship completion
Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with 4x4 vehicles or heavy-duty automotive work
Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical and diagnostic systems
Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail




Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A current valid driver's licence
Strong communication skills
