Key responsibilities
Lead and support a small, dedicated team
Oversee the day-to-day operation of the shop
Deliver exceptional customer service and build solid relationships with our local customers and visitors
Maintain high standards of presentation, product quality, cleanliness and food safety
Manage stock, ordering and merchandising
Assist with rosters, staff training and day-to-day team coordination
Monitor sales and identify prospects to grow the business
Ensure the shop operates efficiently and professionally
Work closely with the owners to maintain the values and reputation of our family business

About you
An experienced retail, hospitality, food, or butcher shop manager




A confident and positive leader
Customer-focused and genuinely enjoys interacting with people
Organised, reliable and able to work independently
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Commercially minded, with an understanding of stock, sales and margins
Committed to high standards of food safety, cleanliness and presentation
Friendly and approachable, with the ability to build relationships with both locals and visitors
Practical and hands-on
Butchery or meat industry experience is essential
