Main Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with

menu requirements and established recipes.
Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before food

preparation.
Monitor cooking times, temperatures and food presentation

to maintain consistent quality.
Prepare ingredients, including cutting, portioning, seasoning

and marinating food.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with food safety

and hygiene standards.
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and storing

kitchen supplies.
Work efficiently with kitchen staff to ensure timely food

preparation and service. Qualifications and Experience:
An Australian Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or a

relevant qualification may be required.
Relevant work experience in a commercial kitchen may be

required.
Positive knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary $75,000 - $80,000
