About the role To efficiently and safely operate pouch making machines to produce high-quality versatile packaging solutions for QLM Flexibles' customers.

Key responsibilities
Set up and operate pouch-making machines according to job tickets and specifications
Monitor machine performance and identify potential issues early
Conduct basic machine adjustments and maintenance tasks
Perform quality checks on finished pouches and identify non-conformance
Maintain a clean and organised work area
Participate in production meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Report all safety concerns and incidents to the supervisor immediately
Follow all company policies and procedures
Ensure adherence to WHS policies and procedures
Actively participate in lean manufacturing initiatives

About you
High school diploma or equivalent




Minimum 1 year experience operating pouch-making machines (preferred)
Robust mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues
Excellent attention to detail and quality control mindset
Ability to read and interpret job tickets and production specifications
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in basic maths calculations
Ability to work safely and follow all safety protocols
