About the role

Reporting directly to the Group Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, driving operational insights and helping improve business performance. You won't just be producing reports; you'll be helping management understand what the numbers mean and identify opportunities for improvement.

Key responsibilities
Prepare monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reports
Process monthly journals and general ledger reconciliations
Analyse and explain financial variances
Support continuous improvement of management reporting
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data
Assist with annual budgets across multiple business entities
Support ongoing forecasting and business performance modelling
Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts
Conduct job costing, cost analysis and profitability reporting
Monitor labour costs and operational spend

About you
Minimum 5 years' experience in a Management Accounting,



Commercial Accounting or Finance Business Partnering role
Previous experience working within a manufacturing, production or inventory-based workplace
Solid management reporting, forecasting and analysis skills
Advanced understanding of financial accounting principles
Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
Solid attention to detail with the ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
CPA or CA qualification (highly regarded)
Experience with inventory analysis and costing (highly regarded)
Experience implementing process improvements and cost-saving initiatives (highly regarded)
