Join Quad Switchboards as an Electrical Fitter!

Quad Switchboards, part of Gosling Group, is seeking an Electrical Fitter to join our workshop team in Coffs Harbour on a full time or part-time basis. Reporting to the Quad Manager, you’ll build switchboards from drawings through to the finished product, joining a growing team as we take on larger and more complex projects.

Description

Key Responsibilities
Wire, assemble and fit out switchboards in accordance with drawings and specifications
Ensure all work complies with relevant Australian Standards and the NSW Service and Installation Rules
Carry out quality checks to ensure finished products meet company and client standards
Follow all safety procedures and complete required documentation to protect the health and safety of yourself and others
Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area
Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet production deadlines





What We’re Looking For
Cert III in Electrotechnology and/or Cert III Electrical Fitting (required)
SafeWork NSW White card (required)
Demonstrated hands-on switchboard wiring experience
Previous experience with Schneider/NHP switchgear (highly preferred)
Knowledge of AS/NZS 61439, AS/NZS 3000 and the NSW Service and Installation Rules
Ability to interpret single line diagrams, control schematics and technical specifications
Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft 365
Excellent attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Ability to follow direction and work independently
Organised, proactive and able to manage your time to meet deadlines
Australian working rights
Must hold a valid driver’s license
