About us
Future Edge Institute is the education arm of the Kydon Group, Singapore. We’re launching the AI Agent Engineer Programme, a live online course where engineers learn to build, secure and ship AI agents in production. The programme serves learners across Australia and Singapore, and our first cohort starts in late January 2027. The role We’re looking for a Lead Trainer to be the face of the programme. You’ll teach live online, guide learners through hands-on work, and help us build a community of AI builders across APAC. You’ll work alongside an experienced instructor team who support the technical content. What you’ll do
• Co-deliver live online weekend courses with our instructor team
• Host free online taster sessions and info sessions for prospective learners
• Support learners through hands-on labs and review their work
• Host the online capstone Demo Day with industry panellists
• Help improve course content using learner feedback
• Occasionally deliver private online cohorts for company teams What you’ll bring
• 3 to 6 years in software, data or ML engineering
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs: RAG,



tool calling and AI agents (MCP or LangGraph a plus)
• Working knowledge of Docker, cloud and CI/CD
• Experience teaching, mentoring or running workshops or meetups
• Explicit, confident and engaging on camera, with a robust home studio setup (positive camera, mic and internet)
• Based in Australia or Singapore with the right to work there
• Available on selected weekends, with sessions run in Singapore and Sydney time zones Nice to have
• Experience in AI security, evaluation or observability
• Active in the AI or developer community
• Experience teaching learners across Asia Pacific The engagement
• Remote contract role, paid per weekend delivered
• Around 1 to 2 weekends a month to start, growing with demand
• Room to grow into a long-term role as the programme expands across Australia and Asia
