What you’ll be doing:
Preparing and cooking nutritious meals for residents
Following established menus and recipes
Maintaining food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards
Working alongside a Kitchen Hand to ensure smooth daily operations
Contributing to a positive dining experience for residents
Following HACCP procedures and food safety requirements

About You:
Previous cooking experience
Relevant Food Handling/Food Safety Certificate
Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety practices
Reliable, organised and comfortable working as part of a small team
A caring approach and an understanding of the importance of quality meals in aged care
A willingness to learn, with aged care experience highly regarded but not essential
