D&T; Hydraulics & Engineering in Mackay is offering a first-year apprenticeship in 2027 to learn on the job while earning a wage. You will rotate through departments and work toward a Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Fitter & Turner) with guidance from experienced tradespersons in a up-to-date workshop.

The program provides a first-year rate of $23.69 per hour plus penalties, structured on-the-job training, forklift licensing prospects, generous overtime, and a town-based role
