Our clients are established Sydney construction businesses with solid reputations for delivering commercial fitout, refurbishment and building projects across a range of sectors.
With current and upcoming projects secured, these businesses are looking to strengthen their estimating teams with capable Estimators and Senior Estimators who can contribute to competitive tenders and successful project outcomes.

ABOUT THE POSITION

You will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates and competitive tenders across commercial construction projects. Working closely with subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams, you will help ensure tenders are commercially sound, well coordinated and submitted on time.
Depending on your experience, opportunities range from hands-on estimating through to senior positions involving greater tender ownership, subcontractor negotiations and pre-construction strategy. Career progression pathways may include Senior Estimator, Estimating Manager, Pre-Construction Manager and Tender Manager.

DUTIES
Prepare detailed cost estimates and competitive tenders
Review construction drawings, specifications and scope documentation
Complete quantity take-offs and cost analysis




Obtain and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations
Identify commercial risks, cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options
Coordinate tender submissions and liaise with internal and external stakeholders

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Previous estimating experience within the construction industry
Experience across commercial fitout, refurbishment or other relevant commercial building projects
Strong understanding of construction costs, methodologies and subcontractor pricing
Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
Experience using relevant estimating software
Strong commercial awareness, attention to detail and communication skills
