Queensland Government seeks an Assistant Watchhouse Officer to operate in Mackay Watchhouse, handling custody administration, intake processing and security duties. The role involves shift work on a 24-hour, 7-day roster and requires wearing the uniform and adhering to dress standards.

Candidates must hold an Open C Class Driver's Licence and demonstrate compassion, resilience and robust communication. Training and mentorship will be provided during the trainee phase.
