An excellent opportunity is available for a Chemistry and Science Teacher to join a welcoming, values-driven Christian school on Sydney's Upper North Shore.

Commencing in Term 1, 2027, this full time 12-month contract will see the successful candidate teaching Stage 6 Chemistry alongside Stages 4 and 5 Science. Both experienced teachers and early career educators are encouraged to apply.

The Role
Teach Stage 6 Chemistry
Teach Science across Stages 4 and 5




Deliver engaging and contemporary teaching and learning programs
Support students to achieve strong academic outcomes
Foster curiosity, critical thinking and a passion for science
Collaborate with colleagues within the Science faculty
Contribute positively to the broader life of the school and its community

About You
Solid knowledge of the NSW Science curriculum
Confidence teaching Stage 6 Chemistry
Ability to engage and motivate students across a range of abilities
Passion for science education and student achievement
Robust communication and relationship-building skills
Collaborative and professional approach to teaching and learning
An appreciation for Christian values and the school's ethos
A genuine interest in contributing to a school community grounded in faith, care and service

Essential Requirements
Relevant secondary teaching qualifications
Current NESA accreditation or eligibility
Ability to teach Stage 6 Chemistry
Current Working With Children Check
Full Australian working rights
