We are currently seeking aYard Hand to join our Production team at our Ingleburn branch.

This hands‑on role is responsible for the secure and effective manufacture, filling and handling of gas products. You will be representing Supagas with both internal and external customers in a positive and professional manner, you will be effective and efficient in yard operations and the control of drivers in the yard while strictly following Supagas procedures, safety requirements and quality standards.

As a Yard Hand, you will play a key role in ensuring our operations run safely and smoothly, while embodying our‘Yes We Can’ethos and commitment to safety:Think SAFE, Work SAFE, Live PROTECTED.

Duties
Filling gas cylinders to maintain stock levels and filling targets
Maintenance of cylinders as and when required
Efficient and effective performance of customer service (pick-ups/ couriers)
Load and unload transport vehicles using forklift
Pick orders




Counting of stock entering and leaving the yard
Safety checks on all Dangerous goods loads
Lock up of all areas at the end of every shift and securing the site at closing of a night

Skills & experience
Forklift licence is required
MR or HR licence an advantage but not essential
A reasonable level of fitness due to the manual handling nature of the role – Capability of lifting and handling 25kg’s
Previous experience in yard work/ manufacturing plant
Flexibility to work overtime when required
A Demerit Points Statement is required
A National Police Check with regular renewals as require
The successful candidate will be required to attend a pre-employment medical examination.
