CVGT is excited to be recruiting for a Dental Assistant Traineeship with Nunn St Dental Surgery in Benalla. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and caring individual to gain hands‑on experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.

As a Dental Assistant Trainee, you will be an important part of the dental team, supporting dentists and patients while learning the skills required to build a successful career in the dental industry.
Located in Benalla
Certificate III in Dental Assisting
Part time: Wed, Thurs & Fri 9am to 5pm (22.5 hours per week)

About the Role

Working within a busy and qualified dental practice, your duties may include:
Assisting dentists during a variety of dental procedures
Preparing treatment rooms, instruments and materials
Cleaning, sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
Providing excellent customer service to patients and their families
Supporting patients and helping them feel comfortable during appointments
Answering phone calls and managing appointment bookings
Processing payments and maintaining accurate patient records




Maintaining infection control and workplace health and safety standards
Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies
General reception and administration duties as required

Requirements
Driver's licence and reliable transport preferred
Willingness to undertake a Certificate III in Dental Assisting
Current First Aid and CPR certificates highly regarded but not essential
Previous customer service, reception or dental experience advantageous but not required
