We're a small family-owned pub with a diverse range of offerings across food, drinks, our bottle shop, live music and casual patronage within the venue. We've just finished a lovely renovation and are looking to expand the team with an experienced & enthusiastic leader.
About the role
The role is ideally 4 to 5 days a week depending on the candidate (hours ranging from 30 to 38 a week), but we're very flexible and happy to chat more on this of course.
Full Availability to work either Friday or Saturday Nights – we do have the added flexibility of a rotating roster. Plus, days off can also be set together or apart if it suits your schedule better.
Our trading hours are early ones. We Open at 10am 7 days a week and Close between 11pm to midnight through the week (1am Fri/Sat). So, think of a couple day and early night shifts with two closes a week.
Experience in a similar role and venue is preferred, but if you’re someone with the right attitude who’s looking to step up and grow into the role, we’d love to hear from you. Reporting to the General Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operation of the venue, ensuring smooth service standards across both our Food & Bev operations in house, as well as our little busy Bottleshop. You'll lead, coach and inspire the team,
manage busy service periods with confidence and take ownership of the venue in the absence of senior management.
