About the role

We are a newly established child health practice, focussing on high quality, inclusive care. We are looking for an experienced medical/health receptionist to join our team, bringing enthusiasm, initiative and new ideas as our practice grows.

Key responsibilities
Welcoming patients and families in person and over the phone
Managing patient appointments, correspondence and medicare billings
Administration support to clinicians in the practice
Ensure the practice is presentable and clean

About you
Warm, professional and caring manner
Robust communication skills, particularly with a diverse range of young people and families. The ability to discuss current kids television, movies, music and gaming trends is a strength!
Highly organised and productive with strong problem solving skills and close attention to detail
Previous experience in medical or allied health administration is highly regarded
Confidence using practice software (Best Practice or similar), Microsoft office and medicare billing




Looking for opportunities for development and training with an aim to progress to a managerial role
