About the role

You will prepare and cook meals, help keep service running smoothly and maintain a clean, organised kitchen.

Key responsibilities
Food preparation and cooking across the grill, fryer and pizza sections
Following recipes and maintaining consistent food quality, presentation and portion sizes
Working with kitchen and front-of-house staff to deliver meals promptly
Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures
Cleaning kitchen equipment, workstations and preparation areas
Assisting with receiving, storing and handling food supplies

About you
Relevant cookery training or equivalent industry experience
Experience working in a busy kitchen
Sound knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety and hygiene
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive communication skills and a calm approach during busy services
A reliable, punctual and positive approach to work
Availability for night and weekend shifts
A current Food Safety Certificate is desirable
