Hoek Modular Homes have a wonderful opportunity for someone to get an introduction to the construction industry as a trainee estimator. This position would suit a student studying construction management, a Tradie wanting get off the tools, a designer wanting a new challenge or anyone with some construction industry experience who would like to learn.

Hoek Modular Homes is a North Brisbane based family owned and operated construction business specialising in rural homes, modular homes, and secondary dwellings.

We have maintained solid growth and are now seeking a highly motivated individual to fill a full time trainee Estimator position.

The Role:

Duties will include but are not limited to;
Work under experienced Estimators and have a solid willingness to learn
Preparing take-offs
Preparing and sending purchase orders
Stock management
Variations




Associated tasks as required by the lead Estimator

Qualifications & Experience:
Construction experience advantageous
Ability to read construction plans advantageous
Robust time management skills
Strong computer skills utilising Microsoft office suite
Exceptional time management skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Team Player
Be self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
Willingness to learn and adapt
