The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cook to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis. The role involves food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations while maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, hygiene, and service.

Key Responsibilities
Preparing, seasoning and cooking a variety of dishes according to menu requirements
Assisting in planning and organising food preparation for smooth kitchen operations
Ensuring ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and meet quality standards
Operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, and fryers safely and efficiently
Portioning, plating, and presenting dishes to maintain consistency and quality
Preparing meals to meet dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, allergen-aware)
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen areas and equipment




Assisting in supervising and supporting junior kitchen staff

Qualifications & Experience
Relevant AQF qualification (Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery, or equivalent) or equivalent relevant experience.
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as a Cook or in a similar commercial kitchen role.
Sound knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety requirements.
Robust communication, teamwork, organisation, and time-management skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen setting while maintaining food quality and presentation.
