The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:Diagnose any problems with the vehicles or machinery by using scanning tools and computersMaintain, test and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems and Hydraulic systems on vehicles and other heavy plant machinery/equipmentInspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles, and other heavy plant machinery/equipmentDo routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts on vehicles and other heavy plant machinery/equipmentUndertake inspections, assessments and maintenance on Vehicles,



and other heavy plant machinery/equipmentSkills & Abilities:Ideally have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified Diesel MechanicLogical and explicit thinkerExcellent problem solverStrong communication skillsAbility to work in a team environmentQualificationsA Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology /Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or relevantSalary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience.
