We are looking for a friendly, motivated and sales-focused Showroom Sales Consultant to join our team.
This is a varied role combining showroom sales, customer service and administration, with the opportunity to become an important part of our growing operation.Key responsibilitiesAssisting showroom, telephone and email customers with product enquiriesIdentifying sales opportunities (leads), preparing quotes and closing salesProactively following up enquiries and outstanding quotationsProcessing customer leads, quotes, orders, deposits and paymentsProviding advice on water tanks, pumps and associated productsUsing Xero for accounting and administration functionsUsing SimPRO for customer, quotation and job management functionsSupporting the Group Sales Manager,



Site Operations Manager and broader Rutherford team with general administrationMaintaining a well-presented showroom including some reasonable manual handlingAbout youApproachable, organised, confident with customers and comfortable working in a sales environmentGood computer and administration skillsCurrent Australian driver's licence and reliable own vehiclePrevious experience with water tanks, pumps, plumbing or similar industries is a solid advantageStrong sales and customer service experienceAbout usBasix Plastix is expanding and preparing to relocate our operations into larger premises in Rutherford.
