Due to the nature of the role, our clients love to call us, clients coming in for training, meetings, being available for documents to be dropped off etc, this is an on site role.You will fit perfectly into the team if you:Have a solid grounding in bookkeeping with a minimum of 3 years diverse experience, ideally with some in public practiceLove technology and you are a Xero Guru who enjoys learning and keeping up to dateHave worked with both Xero / MYOBHave a great understanding of Australian accounting and GST, Payroll and SuperannuationFocus on getting it right and getting it doneHave a genuine interest in helping clients and be able to build rapportEnjoy creating easy to use, processes and systemsHave a minimum of a Cert IV in Bookkeeping (ideally a Diploma of Accounting) it is desirable you also have a minimum of a Cert IV in PayrollEnjoy problem solving, troubleshooting and providing help desk style supportHave excellent time management and oral and written communication skillsAre looking to work part time (or at least 4 days per week)



- Possibility for full time.The bookkeeping parts to this role will be varied in nature and keep you busy including:Preparation of IAS & BAS, including end of year GST & ATO reconciliationsXero Set Up and Software ConversationsPreparation of end of month reconciliationsProviding troubleshooting for client issues with Xero & MYOBSoftware RequirementsXero (Expert level) - (plus Xero Practice Manager is desirable)DropboxMicrosoft Suite (Advanced Excel)We are a Certified Practicing Accountant / Institute of Public Accountants practice, and we are growing, as the result of growth and departmental restructuring we have this position available.
