We are seeking a proactive and detail-focused Inventory Controller to join our Truganina team.This is a permanent day shift position focused on inventory control, stock accuracy and inventory optimisation within a fast-paced manufacturing workplace, working an 84-hour / 7-shift fortnight on a non-rotating 6:00am to 6:00pm roster, with overtime opportunities available.Working closely with Warehouse, Production, Purchasing and Dispatch teams, you will play a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring materials are available to support production.About The RoleAs an Inventory Controller, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of inventory, including stock reconciliation, cycle counting, goods receipting and inventory reporting.
You will help maintain high inventory accuracy while supporting production requirements and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.Key ResponsibilitiesComplete daily cycle counts and inventory checksMaintain inventory accuracy through stock reconciliation and discrepancy investigationManage the receipting of raw materials, finished goods and returnsPerform SAP/Oracle inventory reconciliations and stock adjustmentsEnsure raw materials are staged and available for production requirementsCoordinate stock movements with warehouse and production teamsParticipate in daily production meetings and provide accurate inventory dataOrganise interstate stock transfers as requiredManage damaged stock and quality-related inventory issues through the NCR processSupport initiatives to optimise inventory levels and improve stock control processesMaintain compliance with food safety, quality and workplace health and safety standardsAbout YouTo be successful in this role,
