We are seeking a full-time Dispense Technician to join our pharmacy team in Rosebud.
This is a key operational role that plays a vital part in ensuring the safe, accurate and efficient dispensing of medications to our patients.
As a Dispense Technician, you will be at the heart of our pharmacy operations, working closely with our pharmacists and the wider healthcare team to deliver excellent patient care and maintain the highest standards of pharmaceutical practice.What you'll be doingAccurately dispensing medications according to prescriptions and pharmacist instructions, ensuring precision and attention to detailPreparing and labelling prescription items in compliance with all relevant pharmacy regulations and guidelinesMaintaining accurate records of all dispensed items and inventory management systemsProcessing prescription requests from customers and healthcare providers in a timely mannerAssisting with the receipt, storage and rotation of pharmaceutical stock to ensure proper inventory controlSupporting pharmacists during the checking and verification of prescriptionsProviding courteous and professional customer service to patients and members of the publicMaintaining a clean,



hygienic and safe working environment in compliance with pharmacy standardsContributing to the smooth running of pharmacy operations and assisting with administrative tasks as requiredWhat we're looking forCurrent Pharmacy Technician or Dispense Technician certification or qualification recognised in VictoriaDemonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical products, medications and dispensing proceduresStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accuracy under pressureExcellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of practiceProficiency with pharmacy management systems and computer softwareClear communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients, healthcare providers and colleaguesA commitment to patient safety and understanding of privacy and confidentiality requirementsPrevious pharmacy dispensing experience is highly desirableReliability, punctuality and a positive approach to teamworkWhat we offerWe are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding workplace.
