GAAM is also a supplier of other emergency products to fire, rescue, police and other emergency services throughout Australia.About the RoleWe are seeking to hire a workshop assembler to add to our growing production team.
This individual must be a team player, with the ability to be proactive and work autonomously.
Specific duties include bench fitting, drilling, assembly of pump sets, pump testing, pump repairs, packing, lathe /milling, wiring, grinding, repair of various firefighting equipment,



manufacture of foam systems and manufacture of Nupla tool systems.Key Responsibilities and QualificationsAssembly and fitting of machined partsProven ability to fabricate small and large componentsConstruction and repair of metal products and structuresDemonstrated ability to interpret workshop drawingsMicrosoft excel, outlook and or basic computer skillsExperience with any electrical assembly, would be advantageousShown capability to work in a team workplace as well as unsupervisedFitter and turner trade qualification requiredIf you have a passion to work in the emergency services industry, this may be the role for you.
