Beel Welding and Fabrication Pty Ltd – Bells Creek QLDYou'll take ownership of fabrication projects from tender handover through to delivery and close-out, keeping jobs on time, on budget and to the required standard.
You'll be the main point of contact for clients, builders and engineers, while working closely with our workshop, drafting and site teams.Key responsibilitiesManage multiple structural steel fabrication and erection projects from award through to completionDevelop and maintain project programs, budgets, and cash flow forecastsCoordinate with detailers/drafters, engineers and the workshop to keep shop drawings, approvals and fabrication on trackManage procurement of materials, coatings and subcontractors, and track deliveriesAdminister contracts, variations, progress claims and RFIsEnsure work meets project specifications, Australian Standards and quality requirements (including ITPs and documentation)Drive a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with WHS legislation and company proceduresRun regular project meetings and provide explicit progress reporting to management and clientsIdentify risks early and resolve issues before they affect the programAbout youProven experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager in structural steel fabrication,



or in a related metals, engineering or construction environmentStrong understanding of fabrication processes, shop drawings, welding and coating requirementsWorking knowledge of relevant standards (e.g. AS/NZS ****, AS ****, AS/NZS ****)Solid commercial skills, including estimating, budgeting, variations and claimsConfident communicator with the ability to manage clients, suppliers and internal teamsWell organized, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlinesCurrent driver's licence and a valid White CardTrade background, or a diploma or degree in engineering, construction management or similar (desirable)Experience with project management software (e.g. MS Project, Procore, Xero) (desirable)Experience with commercial, industrial or infrastructure projects (desirable)About usBeel Welding & Fabrication is a structural steel fabrication business known for quality workmanship, reliable delivery and strong relationships with builders and clients.Competitive salary package based on experienceA stable role with a growing, well-regarded businessVaried, interesting projectsA supportive team and a hands-on management approach
