It's no easy task, but nothing rewarding ever is.What You'll DoBased from the Brisbane office, as the Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer, you'll provide holistic engineering support for mechanical rotating equipment - ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation to achieve business outcomes across Santos' upstream operations.You'll be the go-to technical expert for rotating equipment reliability, working closely with operations, maintenance, and project teams to drive equipment performance and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn Reliability Management Plans (RMPs)



for rotating equipmentProvide technical advice and support to operations and maintenance teamsOptimise maintenance strategies using RCM, FMEA, and Defect Elimination methodologiesLead reliability investigations and report findings to senior managementDeliver proactive technical surveillance on mechanical rotating equipmentManage equipment obsolescence and vulnerabilitiesCoordinate with engineering and project teams on replacement and improvement initiativesMentor and develop graduate and junior engineersWhat You'll BringBachelor's degree with RPEQ & Chartered Engineering status (or eligibility)10+ years' experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or similar industryCertified Vibration Analyst - Category 1Competent in CMMS (preferably SAP)Strong leadership and communication skillsWhat You'll GetHere, you'll be amongst high-calibre people and get to work on industry-leading projects.
