With an established market presence, a reputation for innovation and continued growth, they offer a stable and engaging environment where employees are valued and encouraged to contribute.An opportunity has arisen for an experienced AR Officer to join their friendly and supportive finance team.Reporting to the Finance Manager, this position will see you take responsibility for the day-to-day Accounts Receivable function, ensuring customer invoicing, payment allocations and collections are managed accurately and efficiently.This is a hands-on role offering plenty of variety, autonomy and interaction with stakeholders across the business.
You will be joining a team that values initiative, attention to detail and a willingness to improve existing processes.Your duties will include:Managing the end-to-end Accounts Receivable function, including invoicing, collections and reconciliationsPreparing and issuing customer invoices in accordance with agreed terms and timelinesCalculating and processing commissions,



ensuring accuracy against contractual agreementsMonitoring outstanding accounts and proactively managing debtor collectionsAllocating customer payments and reconciling receipts to the general ledgerResponding to customer account enquiries and resolving billing discrepanciesProviding assistance with Accounts Payable and other finance activities when requiredContributing to improvements in finance processes, systems and reporting, including opportunities for automationAbout YouWe are seeking an experienced and reliable finance professional who enjoys taking ownership of their responsibilities and working as part of a close-knit team.Ideally, you will offer:Proven experience in a dedicated Accounts Receivable or broader Finance Officer positionStrong reconciliation, invoicing and debtor management skillsExperience working with commissions or complex customer arrangementsConfidence using accounting softwareSound Microsoft Excel skills, with Power BI exposure an advantageExcellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlinesStrong communication skills and a professional approach to customer interactionsA proactive mindset and an interest in improving processes through technology and automationIf you are an experienced AR Officer who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys building relationships and is looking for a rewarding long-term chance, we would welcome your application.To apply, please submit your resume via SEEK, or email Michael O'Connell at Sapphire Recruitment on : ****** or call ******** ***.
