Family Law Solicitor Senior 4 years Plus PAE
Seeking an experienced Family Law Solicitor with a minimum of 4 years' post-admission experience to join our team in Maroochydore, Queensland.
This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work with a dedicated family law practice whilst contributing your expertise to assist clients through some of life's most challenging circumstances.
As a senior solicitor, you will take on increased responsibility for client matters, mentoring, and the strategic development of our family law practice.
What you'll be doing
Managing a diverse caseload of family law matters including property settlements, parenting disputes, divorce proceedings, and financial agreementsProviding comprehensive legal advice to clients on matters concerning family law, whilst ensuring they understand the implications of their casesDrafting and reviewing legal documentation including court pleadings, agreements, affidavits and correspondenceRepresenting clients in negotiations and court proceedings, advocating effectively for their interestsConducting client interviews and consultations with sensitivity, professionalism and clear communicationCollaborating with barristers, mediators and other legal professionals to achieve optimal outcomes for clientsMentoring junior legal staff and supporting the professional development of team membersMaintaining compliance with professional conduct obligations, client file management standards and legal practice proceduresContributing to the continuous improvement and efficiency of firm operations and client service delivery
What we're looking for
A minimum of 4 years' post-admission experience (PAE) working as a solicitor in family lawSound knowledge and proven expertise in substantive family law, including property division, parenting matters, divorce and financial agreementsStrong legal research and drafting skills with the ability to produce clear,



precise and persuasive documentationExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in accessible termsProven courtroom or dispute resolution experience, with confidence in appearing before the courts or in mediationProfessional conduct and ethical standards that demonstrate integrity and compliance with Law Society obligationsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a busy legal environmentExperience in client relationship management and the ability to build trust with diverse clients during difficult circumstancesA commitment to mentoring junior staff and contributing to a team-oriented team culturePreferred: experience with legal practice management software and modern legal technologies
