Based at one of our properties approximately 30 minutes from Orange, this is a permanent part-time position offering plenty of variety across livestock, machinery and general property operations.
Reporting to the Owners and Farm Managers, you will be a valued member of the team and play an important role in the day-to-day running of the property.Key responsibilitiesAnimal husbandry, stock movements, yard work, feeding and animal health programsMonitoring livestock performance and maintaining livestock recordsFencing, water infrastructure and general property maintenanceWeed control and chemical sprayingOperating tractors and farm machinery for sowing, spreading, spraying, tillage and cattle feedingMinor mechanical repairs and routine equipment maintenanceContributing to safe and efficient farm operationsAbout youIdeally 3-5 years' experience in a hands-on livestock or agricultural roleStrong livestock handling skills and a genuine passion for agricultureExperience operating farm machinery safely and efficientlyBasic mechanical knowledge and welding skillsGood communication, observation and problem-solving skillsThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamA proactive attitude, good attention to detail and willingness to learnA current driver's licence and full Australian working rightsLow-stress stock-handling training and chemical user accreditation are required.

Our operation includes a self-replacing Black Angus breeding herd of approximately 2,500 cows, with progeny grown to feedlot specifications alongside cattle trading.
Our livestock operations are supported by forage cropping and pasture improvement programs, as well as a small Angus stud producing bulls for our commercial breeding herd.
