This position is perfect for those looking to gain valuable experience in the hospitality industry or build upon existing kitchen skills.Key responsibilitiesPreparing and organising ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and other food itemsMaintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookwareAssisting chefs and cooks with food preparation tasks as directedManaging waste disposal and ensuring the kitchen complies with health and safety regulationsRestocking kitchen supplies and maintaining inventory of essential itemsSupporting the smooth flow of kitchen operations during service periodsFollowing food safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organised workspaceAssisting with general kitchen duties and tasks as required by senior kitchen staffWhat we're looking forPrevious experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential for enthusiastic candidatesA genuine passion for hospitality and food preparationAbility to work efficiently in a fast‐paced environment and adapt to changing prioritiesStrong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygieneReliability and punctuality, with the flexibility to work casual shifts as requiredGood teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to take direction from senior kitchen staffPhysical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods whilst performing kitchen dutiesFood safety knowledge or willingness to obtain relevant certificatesWhat we offerAs a member of the Heads of Noosa Brewing Company team, you'll enjoy a supportive and collaborative work environment in the hospitality industry.
