This position suits someone with hands-on workshop or previous trade experience who takes pride in accurate work and maintaining a clean organised workspace.For the right person, we also offer the opportunity to develop into stainless steel TIG welding and fabrication, providing a pathway to build a valuable specialist trade skill over time.Immediate start available.About UsWe are a specialist manufacturer and installer of stainless steel handrail and balustrade systems for residential and commercial construction projects.We operate a clean and structured workshop with a solid focus on:Quality workmanshipSafetyReliability and punctualityOrganisationConsistent processes and standardsProducing work we are proud to put our name toThe Role IncludesTypical duties include:Cutting stainless steel tube and components using a band sawDrilling, marking out and preparing componentsDeburring, grinding, polishing and finishing stainless steelAssembly and preparation of handrail and balustrade systemsPacking and preparing jobs for installationInstalling handrails and balustrades on residential and commercial sitesDrilling and installing fixings into concrete, steel, timber and other substratesUsing hand and power tools safely and accuratelyReading technical drawings, measurements and installation instructionsAssisting experienced fabricators with production and installationMaintaining a clean and organised workshop,



vehicles and worksitesCompleting quality checks and following established proceduresFor someone with the right aptitude and attitude, there will also be the opportunity to progressively learn:Stainless steel TIG weldingStainless steel fabricationFabrication and assemblyWhat We're Looking ForThis role would suit someone with previous experience in a workshop, manufacturing, construction, installation or trade environment.You must have:Strong attention to detailPride in producing accurate, high-quality workGood practical and mechanical aptitudeAbility to measure, mark out and follow drawings or instructionsConfidence using hand and power toolsPhysical fitness and the ability to safely lift 20kg+ repetitivelyReliable attendance and punctualityA safety-first attitudeWillingness to follow systems, procedures and quality standardsWillingness to work both in the workshop and on construction sitesFull Australian working rightsExperience in metal fabrication, stainless steel, welding, installation, construction or a related trade is highly regarded, but existing welding experience is not essential if you demonstrate the right aptitude and willingness to learn.This is not an entry-level general labouring position.
