Experienced Veterinary Nurse – Permanent Full-time or Part time Position AvailableOur Practice:For over 50 years, Penrith Veterinary Hospital has been caring for Penrith's pets and their owners.
Our experienced veterinarians and dedicated nursing team are committed to delivering high-quality veterinary care in a friendly, comprehensive, and affordable environment.
With a team of 9 experienced veterinarians supported by almost 20 veterinary nurses, no two days are the same in our busy and dynamic hospital.We are currently seeking a passionate and outgoing veterinary nurse to join our team on either a full-time or part-time basis (we are flexible for the right candidate).
About the role:Full-time position – 5x weekday shifts, with 8am and 12pm starts, rotating weekend shiftsPart-time position – at least 3-4x weekday shifts, with 8am and 12pm starts, rotating weekend shiftsKey Responsibilities:Animal care, handling, and hospital treatments.Maintaining hospital hygiene and cleanliness of surgical areas and equipment.Assisting with anaesthetics, surgery, and patient monitoring.Pre- and post-operative patient care.General nursing,



blood collection and laboratory sample processing.Reception duties, delivering excellent care to patients and owners.About You:Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.Minimum 2 years of previous clinical experience as a Veterinary Nurse.The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Excellent customer service and communications skills.An enthusiastic, friendly, caring, and hardworking attitude.What we offer:Fantastic hourly rate on offer, depending on experienceWe'll help you transition seamlessly into our team with ongoing training and development opportunities.Great Place to Work Certified!
