In this role, the Assistant Teacher (Educator) will be an integral part of the team working alongside a qualified Teacher to deliver a high quality Kindergarten program.
Opportunity
Permanent Part-Time position(with 9 month probation period) from January ****
Days/Hours:



Thursdays and Fridays from 7:30am to 5:00pm with paid recess leave during QLD school holidays (Contact time with children is 8:20am to 4:00pm)
Qualifications Required: Certificate III OR Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) + Valid Blue Card + First Aid
About the Opportunity
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
developing relationships with children and families
ensuring a safe & well-maintained learning environment
developing/planning/implementing high-quality educational and child-centred learning programs
supporting written documentation, incl.
learning observations, critical reflections and whole group plans based on Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) & National Quality Framework (NQF) guidelines
participating in regular team meetings & professional development opportunities
joining Kindy & community events, incl.
BBQs, Harmony Day Breakfast & Open Day
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
Full Australian working rights essential
Certificate III or Diploma of Early Childhood Education or higher essential
2+ years previous Early Childhood Education experience preferred
Current Working with Children Check essential
AppropriateFirst Aidqualifications or willingness to obtain
