Gre8 provides a range of services in Logistics, Bakery, Employment Opportunities for SBAT's (School Based Apprentices & Traineeships), a SLES (School Leavers Employment Service) program called Capable Me and Consulting services.We are seeking a supportive, reliable and hands-on team member to assist students within our School-Based Apprenticeship and Traineeship (SBAT) Horticulture program.This role is two days a week (Monday and Tuesday initially) and involves supporting young people aged ***** in a practical horticulture environment while assisting trainers and helping maintain a secure, positive and engaging workplace.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport SBATs in daily horticultural tasks such as planting, pruning, weeding, mulching, and garden maintenance.Assist with students engagement and behaviour guidance.Adapt work tasks and communication styles to suit a range of learning needs and abilities.Promote a safe, inclusive,



and empowering environment that encourages skill development and confidence.Monitor progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of training and achievements.Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental, and accessibility standards.Skills & QualificationsHas experience working with young people, trainees or people with additional support needs; and/orHas horticulture, landscaping, gardening or outdoor maintenance experienceIs calm, approachable and able to build positive relationshipsCan work within a team environmentHas good communication and problem-solving skills Working with Children Check.
