We are seeking a reliable, motivated and practical person to join our team in a varied role combining hands‐on warehouse duties with administration tasks.
This is a full time, Monday to Friday position, working from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.Key responsibilitiesReceiving, checking and organising incoming stock including palletised freight and container deliveriesPicking and packing customer orders and arranging freight bookingsMaintaining accurate inventory records and coordinating regular stocktakesKeeping the warehouse clean, tidy, safe and well organisedOperating a walkie stacker to move and handle stockDelivering local orders using the company vanPerforming regular physical duties, including lifting, carrying and moving stockEntering data and maintaining accurate customer and product recordsBooking freight and coordinating deliveriesProcessing sales shipments and invoicesAbout youExperience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and WordGood computer skills, including data entry, preparing stocktakes and maintaining stock recordsExperience using online freight booking systemsGood written and verbal communication skills,



with accurate spelling and a sound grasp of mathematicsStrong attention to detail and excellent organisational skillsA good understanding of workplace health and safety (WHS), with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environmentThe ability to manage competing priorities and work efficientlyA current driver's licence and the ability to undertake local deliveries using the company vanExperience with Unleashed or a similar inventory management system is highly regardedPrevious experience in international logistics, including coordinating import shipments and working with overseas suppliers or freight forwarders, would be an advantageAbout usWe are a small but progressive company specialising in the importation and distribution of catering equipment to the hospitality industry, with almost 20 years of experience.
