Twilight Aged Care is a stand-alone not-for-profit service with a rich history spanning over 100 years.Employing over 300 dedicated staff, they provide high quality residential aged care for more than 200 men and women in 5 homes across Northern Sydney – Dural, Gordon,Mosman, Hunters Hill andGladesville.The Role - Laundry AttendantPromoting and maintaining optimum levels of resident health and well-being through the provision of exceptional laundry services.
Your duties include but are not limited to:Ability to perform safe use of laundry product and equipment'sKnowledge of secure use of ChemicalsKnowledge of infection controlGood oral communication skillsAbility to work without supervisionWork well as part of a teamAbility to prioritise work loadMaintain the laundry recordTo perform duties according to work scheduleComply with Twilight Aged Care policies and proceduresPromote and maintain safe workplace and work towards eliminating hazards and risksEncourage the minimisation of wasteDetailsOpportunity for permanent part time (PPT)48 Hours/Fortnight PPT Laundry Attendant (Mon, Tues, Wed, Thur)Timings may dependent on position and facilityOpportunity to Salary PackageAbout youDemonstrating experience in a similar role, you will have:An up-to-date Police Check or NDISPrevious experience (highly preferred)Previous experience working in community or aged care would be highly regardedWell-developed written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skillsCertificates in Hospitality (optional)Most importantly, you will be a team player who lives and breathes our values every day.
