An established skilled services firm is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its team.
With a strong focus on building genuine client relationships, the firm takes a holistic approach to understanding its clients' financial goals and delivering quality accounting and taxation services.
Your new role
As a Senior Accountant, you'll manage accounting and tax work across an allocated client portfolio, taking files through to final review while maintaining a high standard of technical quality.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing financial statements, tax returns and client files through to final stages
Managing workflow and proactively progressing jobs through the review process
Liaising directly with clients on compliance queries, tax planning and ongoing advice
Participating in client meetings as required
Reviewing completed work and identifying potential value-add opportunities
Identifying efficiencies across workpapers, documentation and compliance processes
Maintaining strong technical knowledge of relevant taxation requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
CA or CPA qualified,



or working towards completion
Public practice accounting experience
Strong technical knowledge across taxation, compliance and advisory
Experience managing client relationships and deadlines
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
A proactive and client-focused approach with a desire to contribute to a positive team culture.
