Forming part of the SIG Admin team, the Claims Assistant role provides admin support to the claims team.
Working in a small but high-performing team, this is a
10-month, full-time secondment

Work in office is expected 3 days per week from 1 February ****.
This is a great opportunity for someone with administration or customer service experience who is looking to build their career in insurance, claims management or a corporate environment.
What you'll be doing:
Provide responsive, professional and customer focused support to ***** Case Managers and other claims support staff as needed
Day-to-day tasks include liability letters, authorising simple payments, organising travel for claimants and requesting clinical notes
Additional duties can include participating in projects, new initiatives, user acceptance testing and other ad-hoc duties as needed by the business
Responding to queries from both internal and external stakeholders
Accurate and timely preparation of documentation for referrals to stakeholders
Create and maintain strong working relationship with both internal and external stakeholders
Work effectively in a team environment, supporting both planned and unplanned leave as needed
What we're looking for:
Do you have...
At least one year experience within current role at EML




Willingness to explore recent experiences in a different business unit, eagerly develop relationships with new work colleagues and learn new claims management systems
Strong Microsoft skills including:
Teams: efficient use of messaging, responding to customers in a timely manner
Outlook: managing your own inbox, other inboxes, calendars and invites
Excel: confident in use of filters, Pivot Tables and online SharePoint resources
