About the roleAs a Senior Accountant, you will support all areas of finance, ensuring accurate financial processes and reporting during a maternity leave cover.
Key responsibilitiesPrepare and review journal entries, perform ledger and account analysis, and conduct variance analysisComplete balance sheet reconciliations and ensure compliance with the firm's reconciliation frameworkSupport annual budgeting and forecasting processes as requiredAssist in the preparation of financial and management reporting, liaising with the World Firm Finance teamEnsure finance processes comply with internal controls and authorisation requirementsSupport tax compliance requirements through coordination with stakeholders and external advisorsAssist with external audits and resolve queries in a timely mannerIdentify opportunities to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency.




Skills & experienceCA or CPA qualified (or equivalent professional accounting qualification)Proven experience in a Senior Accountant role, including responsibility for financial reportingExposure to tax compliance, including GST, Payroll Tax, and Income Tax obligationsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis capabilitiesExperience using Oracle Financials or a similar ERP system is preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to manage competing priorities.
