Turner Freeman is seeking a 2 Paralegals to join our Newcastle office on a part-time basis.
We are looking for a current 2 year and 3 year student.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a respected legal practice, providing essential support to our legal teams whilst enjoying the flexibility of part-time work.
As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our legal services, supporting our lawyers and contributing directly to the successful delivery of legal matters to our clients.What you'll be doingProviding administrative and clerical support to lawyers, including managing correspondence, scheduling appointments and maintaining case filesConducting legal research using various legal databases and resources to support legal advice and case preparationDrafting and preparing legal documents, pleadings and correspondence under the supervision of qualified lawyersManaging client interactions by responding to enquiries, scheduling consultations and maintaining client relationshipsMaintaining accurate and organised filing systems, both physical and digital, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal requirementsPerforming general office administration tasks to support the efficient operation of the legal practiceWhat we're looking forA student that will be entering their 3rd year of study in **** and a student entering their 4th year of study in ****.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectivelyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with legal software and standard office applicationsAttention to detail and accuracy in all work performedProfessional demeanour and the ability to maintain client confidentialityAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamPrevious experience working in a legal practice or law firm is highly desirableKnowledge of legal procedures, court processes and legal terminologyWhat we offerTurner Freeman is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive workplace where our staff can thrive.
