Key responsibilities
Responding as part of the site emergency response team to incidents and emergencies
Supporting emergency preparedness activities, including drills and training
Helping inspect and maintain emergency response equipment in readiness for use
Working collaboratively with site teams to promote safe work practices and emergency awareness
Maintaining a high standard of safety, communication and operational readiness
About you
Open-cut coal mining experience is essential
Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical
Certificate 3 Emergency response and rescue
Current C Class Driver License (HR highly Desirable)
Safety focused, with strong attention to detail
Able to work effectively as part of a team in high-pressure situations
Experience operating large-scale mining equipment, such as Caterpillar 793 or 789 haul trucks, CAT D10 or D11 dozers, 16M or 18M graders, or Hitachi ****, **** or **** excavators, will also be highly regarded
