Wisdom Denture and Dental Clinic is seeking a dedicatedDental Receptionistto join our friendly team in Penrith, NSW.
This is apart-time positionthat plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming first impression for our patients and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional customer service whilst managing the administrative functions that keep our practice running efficiently.
This role is essential to maintaining the professional standards and patient satisfaction that define our clinic.
Key responsibilities
Greeting patients warmly upon arrival and ensuring they feel welcomed in a comfortable environment
Managing patient appointment bookings and scheduling, whilst maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
Handling patient inquiries via telephone, email and in person with professionalism and courtesy
Processing patient payments and managing billing transactions accurately
Maintaining confidentiality of patient information in accordance with privacy regulations and clinic policies
Assisting with patient registration and updating personal and medical information
Supporting the clinical team by preparing patient files and treatment notes
Managing clinic inventory and restocking reception supplies as needed
Coordinating with dentists and dental hygienists to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the day
Answering general inquiries about dental procedures, fees and clinic services
What we're looking for




Excellent customer service skills with a genuine enthusiasm for helping patients
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Proficiency in using dental practice management software and standard computer applications
Professional telephone manner and effective communication skills
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a busy clinical setting
Attention to detail and accuracy when handling patient records and appointments
A keen interest in healthcare and dental practice operations
Reliability and punctuality
Experience in a dental or healthcare reception setting is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided
