Corporate & Commercial Lawyer (1-4 years' PQE)
Nova Legal is a specialist corporate law practice based in West Perth.
Our Corporate & Commercial team comprises seven lawyers, including two Directors, two Senior Associates, an Associate and two solicitors.
We advise ASX-listed companies, private clients and institutional investors across corporate transactions, equity capital markets, corporate governance and commercial matters, with particular experience across the resources and technology sectors.

The Role
Nova Legal is seeking a lawyer with approximately1–4 years' post-admission experienceto join our Corporate & Commercial team.
You will be welcomed into a close-knit team and work directly with our Directors and senior lawyers on a variety of corporate and commercial transactions, including:
Equity capital markets, including IPOs, RTOs and general capital raisings
Mergers and acquisitions
Private equity transactions
Corporate governance
General commercial transactions
This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer looking to develop their corporate and commercial experience within a specialist practice.




You will gain exposure to interesting and wide-ranging matters and have the opportunity to take increasing responsibility as your experience develops.
About You
We are looking for a commercially minded and motivated lawyer who is keen to develop their skills and take ownership of their work.
Ideally, you will have:
An Australian law degree and admission as an Australian lawyer
1–4 years' post-admission experience
Experience in corporate and/or commercial law
Strong drafting, research and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
A willingness to learn and take ownership of matters
A collaborative approach and genuine interest in being part of a close-knit team
