Shoalhaven Cardiology is seeking a casual Practice Nurse (RN) to join the team for an immediate start.
Prior cardiac nurse experience and expertise is required.
Key responsibilities
Perform clinical duties according to the best available evidence
ECG recording
Interview patients to obtain previous medical and medication history
Maintain clinical documentation
Explain procedures to patients, including triage duties
Telephone patients as directed by doctors
Maintain stocks of clinical supplies, removal of out-of-date stock and ordering supplies
Act within the practice and nursing code of ethics and appropriate level of clinical competence at all times
About you
Prior cardiac nurse experience and expertise required
Strong attention to detail,



a quick learner, proactive
Strong organisational and time management skills
Performs well in a busy environment with demonstrated ability to juggle a variety of tasks
Positive can do attitude and highly personable with ability to build and maintain rapport
Team player but also able to work autonomously
Sound understanding of IT and computer skills
Understanding of Microsoft software, Medical Director and FYDO would be an advantage
Effective communication with medical professionals and staff
