An exciting opportunity has arisen for anAssociate – Accounting Advisoryto join a high-performing Hedge Accounting team.
This role offers the opportunity to develop specialist expertise while working with senior finance and treasury stakeholders across a diverse client portfolio.
The role:
Advise clients onhedge accounting strategiesand complex transactions
Perform hedge effectiveness testing and prepare accounting documentation
Support journal entries, financial reporting and disclosures
Provide technical accounting advice across interest rate, FX and commodity hedging
Conduct technical accounting research, particularly aroundIFRS 9
Work closely with clients, auditors and internal specialists
Contribute to month-end and quarter-end reporting processes




Develop strong expertise in one of the most complex and evolving areas of accounting
You will ideally have:
Around5 years' accounting experience, with up to 3 years post-qualified
Background infinancial reporting, audit or technical accounting advisory
Strong knowledge ofIFRS, particularly IFRS 9
Excellent analytical, research and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and client management skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a high-performing workplace
